Along with my series of local Philadelphia boutique gems, I got to collaborate with Vagabond in Old City. I have loved this store from afar for six months now. Every day, I walk by it on my way to work and just gawk through the window. Megan and her partner have been in business for such a long time, she just tells people now that she's "stopped counting the years." Most of the designers Vagabond carries use all natural fibers. There is also an amazing assortment of vintage pieces in the back of the store. Megan helped me pick out some great looks with designers from around the world. The first look was this beautiful set from Osei Duro and a cardigan from Stella Pop, an in-house knit designer at Vagabond. The short and crop top set was hand printed in Ghana, West Africa!
The second look we picked was this amazing wrap dress from the designer Black Crane. The lightweight fabric and wrap skirt design makes it the perfect summer dress. I paired it with my new favorite leather wrap necklace and snakeskin cutout slingbacks from Asos.
The last look was this great black culotte jumpsuit from Caroline Callahan. The romper ties in the back and has pockets. Pockets are key, DJ Khaled said so. This romper can easily be taken from day to night with the right accessories!
Stop on in to Vagabond next time you're in Old City and take a look at some of their incredible pieces from all over the world. The designs they carry are all so unique and beautifully crafted, it is truly a place you have to put on your go-to's for Philadelphia.
