New Year 2016

Hey again!

Can you believe it's New Years Eve? I'm trying to plan my outfit for the concert I am going to tonight, but realized I need to make some resolutions before midnight. I like to set goals, as long as they are attainable. There is no sense in setting a resolution to eat less pizza or drink better beer (three cheers for Yuengling). It's just not my style. However there have been some things in the back of my mind I have been wanting to do so if I blog about it, maybe I'll have more incentive to actually do it. 

1. Exercise a bit

I do yoga on occasion, and just went rock climbing for the first time. I love both, I just need to set a goal for myself to make more time to do it. I always feel so much better after a workout, I just need to stop being so lazy.

2. Cook more

The kitchen in my apartment is so small and gets dirty so quickly that I'm always the first to suggest ordering food. The expense of eating out all the time really adds up quickly, and the meals usually aren't that healthy. I'm not saying I'm going to start cooking kale and quinoa for every meal, just that a homemade burrito will be better for me than Qdoba.

3. See my family more

My parents only live about 20 minutes from me, but I don't see them nearly as much as I would like to. Life is short and family is important so I want to make it a point to hang out with them way more than I do. Plus, my parents are actually pretty fucking cool. 

4. Spoil my dog 

I mean she already sleeps on the bed and eats all my leftovers. But I love going hiking and seeing her running free and happy. Plus she needs a new dog bed, she's stolen the cats for good. 

5. Blog more!

I suck at keeping up with this a bit. But it's a good way to ramble about my thoughts and ideas. 

6. Dance, Smile, Laugh, Love, Adventure

All of the above, every day, all the time!
